Patricia A. McKenzie attended Georgia State University, where she successfully completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1997. After working in telecommunications for some time, she decided to pursue her passion and enrolled at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2004.

Ms. Mckenzie graduated law school in 2007 and has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since November 2007. She has always had a heart for service and developed her passion for the practice of law and skills through various internships and positions, including ones with Broward Legal Aid, Florida and Atlanta Legal Aid – Gwinnett Office.

Patricia Mckenzie’s heart for service is still evident today despite her successes. She volunteers with the Gwinnett Pro Bono Project in the areas of Family Law and recently at the Probate Clinic!  Ms. McKenzie is a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  She will serve as the President of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers – Gwinnett Chapter for 2017-2018, and Secretary of the Family Law Section of the Gwinnett County Bar Association for 2017-2018.  She is also further involved in her community as she is the current Secretary of her Homeowner’s Association Board. The Law Offices Of Patricia A. Mckenzie specializes in Immigration law which includes Removal Defense, Deportation, Family Based Petitions, Employment Based Petitions, Religious Worker Petitions, and Battered Spouse Petitions. Ms. McKenzie handles appending criminal and family law issues for her immigration clients as needed.Currently, Ms. McKenzie practices in several counties in the Atlanta area, including Dekalb, Gwinnett, Cobb and Forsyth Counties.
